प्रिय मित्रों, आइए हम भी उन दो अंधों की तरह येसु से दया और उनके छूने की याचना करें। ताकि हम भी अंधकार से प्रकाश की ओर परिवर्तन का अनुभव कर सकें और ईश्वर की शक्ति के साक्षी और आशा के प्रकाश स्तंभ बन सकें।

Dear friends in Jesus Christ, in today’s first reading, we read of a striking switch that the deaf will hear, the blind will see, and the humble will rejoice (Isaiah 29:17-24). This passage speaks of a transformation from darkness to light, where God’s power and wisdom are revealed. In today’s Gospel, we see this transformation played out in the lives of two blind men who cry out to Jesus for mercy. Jesus touches their eyes, and they receive their sight.
This miracle is a testament to Jesus’ power to bring light into our darkness (Matthew 9:27-31). Dear friend throughout the Bible, we see this transformation. St.Paul who is one of the pillars of the church, once a persecutor of Christians, became a powerful apostle (Acts 9:1-31). The disciples, once fearful and doubting, became bold witnesses to the resurrection of Jesus (John 20:19-23). The prodigal son, once lost, returned home to a father’s loving hug (Luke 15:11-32).
Dear friends, these examples remind us that God’s power can transform even the darkest of situation. As Isaiah writes in 29:18, “On that day the deaf shall hear the words of a scroll, and out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind shall see.” My dear friends let us cry out to Jesus like the two blind men, seeking his mercy and touch. So that we may too experience the transformation from darkness to light, and may we become beacons of hope and witness to God’s power.
