(यिरमियाह 1:4-9; लूकस 10:1-16)
प्रिय मित्रों, यिरमियाह 1:4-9 में, हम पढ़ते हैं कि यिरमियाह नबी को ईश्वर द्वारा बुलाया गया। उनकी युवावस्था और अनुभवहीनता के बावजूद, यिरमियाह को ईश्वर ने राष्ट्रों के लिए भविष्यद्वक्ता बनने के लिए चुना। यिरमियाह 1:7 में, ईश्वर ने उन्हें आश्वासन दिया, “ये मत कहो कि मैं तो सिर्फ एक बालक हूँ, क्योंकि जहाँ कहीं मैं तुम्हें भेजूँगा, वहाँ तुम जाओगे, और जो कुछ मैं तुम्हें कहूँगा, वही तुम कहोगे।”
लूकस 10:1-16 में, येसु ने बहरत्तर शिष्यों को अपने लिए मार्ग तैयार करने के लिए भेजा। उन्होंने उन्हें जोड़ों में भेजा, और यह निर्देश दिया कि वे न तो कोई थैला ले जाएँ, न ही कोई धन, तथा औरों की उदारता पर निर्भर रहें। उन्होंने उन्हें भेड़ों के समान भेड़ियों के बीच भेजा, लेकिन अपने साथ होने और उनकी रक्षा का आश्वासन दिया।
ये दोनों संदर्भ हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि हम सब ईश्वर बुलाहट और उनके द्वारा भेजे जाने के लिए चुने गए हैं, ताकि हम उसकी प्रेम के साधन बन सकें। यिरमियाह की तरह, हमें भी अपनी योग्यता पर संकोच महसूस हो सकता है, लेकिन ईश्वर हमें आश्वस्त करते हैं कि वे हमेशा हमारे साथ हैं। बहरत्तर शिष्यों की तरह, हमें भी इस संसार में भेजा गया है, येसु मसीह के सुसमाचार को साझा करने के लिए। जैसा कि प्रभु येसु संत लूकस 10:2 में कहते हैं, “फसल तो बहुत है, पर मज़दूर थोड़े हैं। फसल के स्वामी से विनती करो कि वह अपनी फसल काटने के लिए मज़दूर भेजे।”
आइए, मेरे प्रिय भाइयों और बहनों, हम प्रभु से प्रार्थना करें कि हम इस बुलावे का उत्तर दे सकें, और ईश्वर के प्रेम के साधन बनकर संसार में भेजे जा सकें। हम यह स्मरण रखें कि हम अकेले नहीं हैं; ईश्वर की उपस्थिति और सुरक्षा हमेशा हमारे साथ है। हम साहसी और निडर बनें, और सुसमाचार को उन सभी के साथ साझा करें, जिनसे हमारा जीवन में मिलन होता है। जैसा कि यिरमियाह 1:17 में लिखा है, “तैयार हो जाओ! उठकर उन्हें वही कहो, जो मैं तुम्हें आदेश देता हूँ। उनसे भयभीत मत हो, नहीं तो मैं तुम्हें उनके सामने भयभीत कर दूँगा।”

Dear friend in Jesus Christ, In Jeremiah 1:4-9, we read of prophet Jeremiah’s call from God. Despite his youth and inexperience, Jeremiah was chosen by God to be a prophet to the nations. God assured him in Jeremiah 1:7, “Do not say, I am only a boy, for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and you shall speak whatever I command you.” In Luke 10:1-16, Jesus sends out seventy two disciples to prepare the way for him.
He instructs them to go in pairs, to carry no purse or bag, and to rely on the generosity of others. He sends them out as lambs among wolves, but assures them of his presence and protection. These two passages remind us that we are all called and sent by God to be instruments of His love. Just like Jeremiah, we may feel insufficient or hesitant, but God assures us that He will be with us always. Like the seventy two disciples, we are sent out into the world to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. As Jesus says in Luke 10:2, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Come my dear brothers and sisters let us pray to the Lord so that we may respond to this call, and may we be sent out as instruments of God’s love. May we remember that we are not alone, but we are accompanied by God’s presence and protection. May we be bold and courageous, sharing the Good News with all those we meet in our lives. As Jeremiah writes in 1:17, “Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them.” Amen.
